FOOD SECURITY

After displacement, people are disproval with all things they lose their ability of getting food among them: Their agricultural lands, food stock, commercial activities and all thing that can allow them to survive. Mostly in different displacement camps in Africa, famine is killing thousands of people. 

Our organization reach those communities immediately by providing them food aid and prevent loss of life when crisis hit. 

In emergency we send our team in the camp to analyze the level of vulnerability and that allows us to recognize what kinds of help do they need, most of time after giving refugees food they often have a problem of getting firewood for the cooking and some women cross with the problem of being sexually abused. To fight against that we make sure that all displaced people have firewood .

We assist them to create different income generation activities and help them to start be self depended.

For students of primary schools we provide them school food while being at school.

providing emergency food is a best way for life saving to vulnerable, refugees and internal displaced people but it can't durable solve the problem because  they can not leave for being given foods all days. Confucius said: "When a man is hungry, it is better to teach him to fish than to give him a fish"

Having that proverb is mind our organization doesn't only assist people with emergency nutrition food but we help them to achieve their self-sufficiency by helping them to get access to vegetable gardens while being in the displacement camp and while being back home we assist them is agricultural programs and different reinsertion projects so that they may be self depended in long term.
